Facility:
This major academic medical center is a Level I trauma facility that serves as a regional referral center providing comprehensive healthcare services to the greater Lansing area. The facility features a well-established interventional radiology program with a dedicated team of 3 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers, supported by experienced management and clinical staff.
Opportunity:
Physician - Radiology - Interventional
Job Details:
• Full-time, hospital-based interventional radiology position with day-shift schedule
• Join a collaborative 3-physician and 2-APP interventional radiology team
• Handle approximately 8 cases per day in a Level I trauma facility
• Q3 call coverage (every third weekday and every third weekend)
• Serve primarily adult and geriatric patient populations
• Perform comprehensive interventional procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, and embolization
• Conduct needle biopsies, thrombolysis, and UFE (Uterine Fibroid Embolization)
• Handle orthopedic, gynecologic, and urology cases as needed
• Must be Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
• Active Michigan medical license required (IMLC not accepted)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
• NPDB self-query required within 30 days of presentation
• Site open to travel providers who can commit to 3+ weeks per month
• On-campus lodging available if needed
• Mileage reimbursement at IRS standard rate
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days with expedited processing available
