Interventional Radiology Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Day Shift: 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:00), Monday to Friday. On Call Requirement: 5 weekday nights and 1 full weekend every 6 weeks.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist with experience in IR, Hybrid OR, Scrub, and Special Procedures to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in a variety of interventional radiology procedures while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in a daily caseload of 7-15 procedures.
  • Perform tasks such as room circulation, scrubbing procedures, and maintaining the sterile field.
  • Prepare access sites and set up necessary equipment for procedures.
  • Monitor patient conditions accurately during interventional procedures.
  • Manage inventory and supplies effectively in the IR department.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology.
  • Current NJDEP Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License (can obtain prior to start).
  • Required Certifications: ARRT (R), ACLS, BLS. Preferred: ARRT (VI).
