Job description

Supplemental Radiology Technologist

Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists is hiring a Supplemental Radiology Technologist to join our team. We offer the flexibility of supplemental employment with an exceptional scheduleโ€”no nights, no on-call, and every weekend and major holiday off. Essential Functions:

  • Completes all radiological exams
  • The X-Ray Technologist carries out the tests by following the procedures for use of the specific equipment required.
  • Provides excellent customer service to our patients.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality.
  • If necessary will assist other clinical staff with cleaning rooms, rooming patients and doing Medical Histories.
  • Stays in compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patients and or other clinic personal.

Qualifications:

  • WA State Radiology Certification
  • ARRT(R); If registry is pending, must complete within 6 months from date of hire into this job classification
  • BLS
  • Knowledge of current medical standards and regulations.
  • Ability to maintain and accurately record EHR files.

Shift:

  • Day shift. No nights, no weekends, on-call, or major holidays.
