Jefferson Radiology is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiologist to join their growing practice at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. This role offers a collaborative, physician-led culture with uncapped earning potential and a pathway to partnership. The position involves 80% Interventional Radiology and 20% Diagnostic Radiology, supporting a leading diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology group committed to exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Support growing practice at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut, with additional coverage across outpatient sites and other hospital locations.
  • Provide 80% Interventional Radiology and 20% Diagnostic Radiology services.
  • Interact with clinical colleagues and attend/present at multidisciplinary conferences and tumor boards to earn CME.
  • Opportunities for teaching and academic engagement through the onsite radiology residency program.

Compensation

  • Salary Range with a base of $650,000 for on-site with productivity incentives upwards to $1,000,000 annually
  • Commencement and/or Retention bonuses up to $100,000 collectively

Requirements

  • MD or DO
  • Graduate of an ACGME accredited Radiology residency program
  • Graduate of an ACGME accredited Interventional Radiology fellowship program
  • ABR or ABOR board-certified / board-eligible
  • ACLS required
  • Connecticut license required
  • 3+ years of attending experience preferred but willing to consider new graduates
  • High end IR skill set is preferred, including procedures such as Angiography, Embolization, Arterial Vascular Therapeutic, Surgical Type Procedures, Venous Catheter Procedures, Venous Vascular Access Procedures, GI Interventions, GU Interventions, Ablation Procedures, PICC Lines, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Superficial Biopsies, Deep Biopsies, Lumbar Puncture, Myelograms, Arthrograms, Abscess Drainage.
  • Level 1 trauma coverage preferred
  • Vein Center experience preferred, but not required
