RP SMIL is seeking a fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist to join their well-established, multi-specialty practice in Scottsdale, AZ. This full-time position involves a majority of work in Interventional Radiology, performing a wide range of advanced procedures. The role offers a partnership track and additional shareholder opportunities within the physician-owned SMIL Outpatient Imaging Centers.

  • Southwest Medical Imaging (SMIL) is a 70+ highly subspecialized radiology practice based in Scottsdale, AZ.
  • The practice owns and operates nearly 20 outpatient imaging centers and serves a healthcare network consisting of 6 hospitals.
  • SMIL has a strong reputation for clinical excellence and superior service in all areas of imaging and intervention.
  • The practice utilizes a locally managed AI-enabled IT Platform with 24x7 IT support and a dedicated communications team, including Radiologist Support Coordinators (RSCs).
  • PowerScribe, InteleRad, and Epic support an efficient, connected workflow across reporting, imaging, and clinical systems.
  • The practice values physician-leadership, teamwork, and clinical quality.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of interventional procedures, including advanced procedures such as bleeding management and atherectomy, kyphoplasty.
  • Work primarily in Interventional Radiology (minimum 80%).
  • Share shift assignment, call responsibility, and vacation allotment equally.
  • Utilize PowerScribe, InteleRad, and Epic for efficient workflow.

Compensation

  • Salary plus comprehensive benefit package - base salary plus productivity bonuses.
