We are looking for a dedicated Radiologist to deliver reliable in-person coverage, supporting the vital clinical services within our Radiology Department. This role involves performing Fluoroscopy, MSK injections, Diagnostic Mammography, and other procedures that require a physical presence to maintain high-quality patient care and service continuity.

About the Role

Are you a talented radiologist eager to join a vibrant community? Become part of our enthusiastic team in Albuquerque, NM, where sunshine graces us for 310 days each year! We are seeking a full-time radiologist passionate about serving our veterans.

The organization is in search of a fellowship-trained radiologist specializing in Abdominal (CT/MRI/US) and non-vascular interventional radiology. The successful candidate will conduct General Fluoroscopy exams and interpret a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging modalities, including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, and plain film. Responsibilities will encompass supervising and interpreting abdominal and cardiothoracic imaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and oversee technologists.
  • Supervise Radiology trainees and coordinate their educational programs.
  • Ensure adherence to service protocols and best practices in patient care.
  • Facilitate interdisciplinary communication with Clinical Services.
  • Promote and implement research and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Optimize the utilization of imaging resources in the cardiothoracic and abdominal sections.
