Job description


Vascular & Interventional Professionals (VIR Chicago) is comprised of 15 dedicated IR specialists whose experience in interventional radiology spans 30 years.ย  Each has been a leader in developing this modern sub-specialized interventional practice.ย  Together with a team of ten talented Advanced Practice Providers, we operate a full-time outpatient clinic, three part-time satellite clinics, 3 OBL sites for PAE and other procedures, and also provide procedural and consultative IR services at eight Advocate, Advent Health, and Independent hospitals in the Chicago metropolitan area.ย  Our physician team is active in research and clinical trials and has authored many scientific papers and presentations in the field of Vascular and Interventional Radiology.ย  All of our eligible Board Certified physicians have earned the subspecialty certification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology, and would value collaboration with an outstanding practice colleague with complementary interventional radiology skills.

Requirements:
  • BC/BE Interventional Radiology
  • IR certified or eligibleย 
  • Skilled in a broad range of endovascular and interventional techniques
  • Willingness to expand skillset to other image-guided interventions
  • Highly motivated team player
  • Must value providing high-quality, state-of-the-art care to patients as a key contributor to a collegial, fast-paced, and fun practice
