SUMMARY:

 CADES Infant Toddler Program offers a variety of family-centered services. Our therapists and teachers work with families directly in their homes and community settings. CADES embraces the "coaching" model that will empower families to utilize strategies in daily routines to support family-driven outcomes. CADES is seeking qualified Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologists for Delaware County and Chester County.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide in-home, related services and therapies for families on their caseload according to the child’s Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).
  • Adhere to the coaching model to work collaboratively to support and foster the growth and development of children birth to 3.  Provides a range of services including developmental and
  • instructional therapies, family support and parent education.
  • Provides effective intervention strategies in the child’s everyday routines and learning opportunities.
  • Provide community resources and support services to families.
  • Complete daily notes and progress reports in adherence to the specific county policy.

Requirements

  • Valid licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for area of practice:
    • Speech Language Pathologist – Masters Degree with Certificate of Clinical Competence
  • 24 hours of annual Early Intervention Training.  Must be working towards endorsement for coaching through the EITA Learning Path.
  • Provide services within the natural environment of the family (home, community)
  • Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License
  • Professional Liability Insurance

Preferred

  • Pediatric experience preferred.
  • Early Intervention experience a plus
  • Bilingual a plus
