Job Description
This is a dual posting with job ID 59920. One opening available. The final title will depend on the qualifications of the final candidate.
This position provides patient care within the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) through assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. The role involves close collaboration with PM&R physicians in a high-volume clinical setting serving patients with traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, and amputations.
Key responsibilities include:
• Evaluating, managing, and treating PM&R patients following discharge from acute and post-acute care hospitalizations.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to develop treatment goals and care plans, while coordinating services and treatments to support successful patient outcomes.
• Serving as a resource for patients, families, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals by addressing concerns and facilitating effective communication related to patient care services.
• Providing inpatient care and follow-up in partnership with collaborating physicians.
• Participating in research studies and clinical trials as applicable to departmental initiatives and approved study protocols.

Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Minimum Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing degree.
Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days.
Must be granted a "Document of Recognition" from the Missouri Board of Nursing.
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $90,251.20 - $147,284.40 annually
Grade: PAT - 012
University Title: NURSE PRACTITIONER SC
