Dollar General Fleet is Now Hiring CDL-A Drivers in Bessemer, ALEarn Up to $82,000 per Year* - Home Weekly*CDL-A and 1 Year of Experience Required!

The distribution center is located at 4101 Lakeshore Parkway, Bessemer, AL 35022.


Top Pay & Benefits:
  • Drivers earn up to $82,000 per year with 2 years of experience!*
  • Earn 67 CPM - 71 CPM*
  • Paid weekly
  • Mile and stop pay
  • Quarterly & annual safety bonus
  • Weekly home-time, regional routes*
  • Average 1,250 miles per week
  • 401(k) - DG will match the first 5% contributed, dollar for dollar after the driver has reached 1 year +1 quarter employed

Requirements:
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • At least 1 year of experience is required
  • No more than one moving violation or accidents in the past 3 years
  • Paid unloading; unload freight and rolltainers at each delivery site in a safe and efficient manner

Company-Drivers are responsible for on time delivery of freight between Dollar General Distribution Centers, stores, and vendors. Responsible for hauling and unloading multi-stop freight to Dollar General Stores and also returning freight (as required) and rolltainers to the Distribution Center. Responsible for safely operating the vehicle and transporting all freight, which includes interstate and intrastate deliveries. The distribution center is located at 4101 Lakeshore Parkway, Bessemer, AL 35022.
