Job description

Hourly pay range: $41.03 min. - $59.49 max


Reporting to the Manager of Radiology this position provides health care services, applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment; performs radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images for interpretation by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner; exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics; applies appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. In addition, as the clinical instructor this position is responsible for day-to-day guidance where required or appropriate, for direct supervision of the radiography students(s) assigned.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE:


  1.  3 years' experience as a radiology technologist preferred

 

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:


  1. Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
  2. Current BLS (American Heart Association) Certification required.
  3. Certification by the State of California (CRT) required.
  4. Certification by the State of California in Fluoroscopy required.
  5. Certificate of venipuncture for contrast media injection required within 6-months of hire if establishing new IV access for the purpose of contrast injection
