POSITION SUMMARY:

Focus Interpreting is seeking a qualified English to American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter to join our team in Lancaster, CA. In this role, you will provide high-quality interpretation services that enable effective communication between English-speaking individuals and the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate communication between English speakers and Deaf individuals by providing accurate and fluent interpretation in ASL during meetings, events, and appointments.
  • Ensure that all interpretations are performed with a high degree of professionalism and respect for confidentiality.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of both the English language and ASL, including regional variations and cultural nuances.
