Job description

MELE Associates, Inc. is seeking to add an experienced Engineering Support Analyst to support the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) in the execution of its mission, including providing technical, programmatic management, environmental planning and logistics support services. This full-time on-site position is contingent upon contract award.

Essential Functions: * Providing the technical expertise to assess Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs), Manufacturing Readiness Levels (MRLs), Phase 6.x Process, relevant DOE Orders (e.g., 413.3B "Program and Project Management (PM) for the Acquisition of Capital Assets), Federal/DOE Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution Processes (PPBEs). * Support cybersecurity, materials acquisition and related initiatives (e.g., nuclear enterprise assurance) associated with NNSA's mission and programs. * Processes associated with data collection, analysis, and dissemination of information gathered by such processes.

* Review systems and activities of interest, including assessment, verification and validation of such systems and potential vulnerabilities. * Conduct security/vulnerability project evaluations. Independent review and validation of data systems, network architecture, security protocols, and other processes and procedures.

* Conduct intelligence-based Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) analysis, etc. and assist acquisition and/or operational activities to reduce programmatic risks. * Assist with identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities, including formulating and implementing associated policies.

* Review security architecture, policies, procedures, etc. to determine if there are any potential security gaps and identify vulnerabilities that, if exploited, would allow unauthorized access to systems, applications, facilities or data. Minimum Qualifications: * Current, active DOE Q Clearance/Top Secret Clearance with ability to acquire SCI.

* Bachelor's degree in engineering or cyber-security related field. Eight (8) years of relevant experience is equivalent to a four (4) year bachelor's degree. * Minimum seven (7) years of government experience * Superior communication, organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications: * Master's degree in engineering or cybersecurity. This position is contingent upon contract award. LOCATION: This is a full-time on-site position in Albuquerque, NM 87123 USA #OPT SALARY: Salaries are determined based on several factors including external market data, internal equity, and the candidate's related knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.
