We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, professional, and tech-savvy paralegal or foreign-barred attorney to join our top-notch legal team in our Washington D.C. office. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, structured environment and takes pride in supporting impactful legal work alongside a dynamic, client-focused team.Applicants must reside within commuting distance of Washington, DC, and be able to report to the office a minimum of two days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft filings for immigration and INTERPOL clients, including client declarations, exhibit lists, and cover letters.
  • Occasionally travel to meet with clients in immigration detention facilities or before U.S. government agencies, including immigration courts and federal district courts.
  • Prepare and file applications for a variety of immigration benefits and forms of relief, including family-based petitions, asylum applications, cancellation of removal, waivers of inadmissibility, U/T/VAWA petitions, naturalization, and adjustment of status.
  • Conduct legal and country conditions research for immigration and INTERPOL defense matters.
  • If foreign-law trained, conduct legal research for attorney review and work under attorney supervision.
  • Support attorneys and legal teams across our Washington, DC headquarters and Miami office.
  • Maintain organized electronic case files and assist with case management using firm technology platforms.

Required Education, Skills & Experience

  • Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience required. Foreign law degrees are welcome.
  • Fluency in English and at least one other language is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Independent worker with sound judgment, accountability, and professionalism.
  • Comfortable learning and utilizing legal technology platforms and adapting to new systems.
  • Strong drafting, writing, and document review skills.
  • Experience preparing and reviewing immigration forms and supporting documentation.
  • Immigration law experience strongly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $65,000โ€“$89,000 annually, commensurate experience.
  • Benefits Include: PTO, paid holidays, 401(k) with firm contribution, paid parental leave, comprehensive healthcare options, professional development opportunities, and participation in firm-wide retreats, trainings, and annual celebrations.

Work Schedule

  • Full-time (40+ hours per week) with overtime as needed.
