Jockey is seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our Finance team!

JOB SUMMARY

Perform daily tasks for setting standards for new product and colors. Report and research gross margin adjustments. Provide support to senior management in projects that support the business strategy.  Month-end closing including general accounting and reporting for corporate cost accounting (i.e., journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly accruals). Year-end budgeting and cost roll functions and year-end audit.

JOB EXPECTATIONS

  • Work with database software to maintain current reconciliations with GL and perpetual records.
  • Work with database software to maintain cost accounting information/reports.
  • Perform general accounting for Cost Accounting month-end to include prepare data for journal entries, accrual entries, and monthly reporting.
  • Essential role in the budget process of setting standards and year-end cost roll.
  • Essential role in year-end audit and preliminary audit schedule preparation.
  • Perform Cost Accounting/Finance projects as assigned.
  • Perform corporate functions as assigned.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 1-3 years of accounting or finance experience – including internships
