POSITION TITLE: CTE Student Intern
SALARY: $15.15 per hour
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Temporary position.Essential functions, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include, but are not limited to, the following tasks, duties, knowledge, skills and other characteristics. This list is ILLUSTRATIVE ONLY and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks performed by incumbents in this class.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES generally include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
  • Assists in the planning and production of promotional and informational videos for various departments with the PUSD district office.
  • Collaborates with CTE Program Managers and other student interns on assigned projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with skills in word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe editing software.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relations with co-workers, vendors, the general public and others having business with the school district.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 11th or 12th grade student
  • Have sample of video production work available for review prior to hire.
  • Enrolled in CTE Internship: Film & TV

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must have transportation to worksite and Driver's License
