Salary: $15/hr + Local Sales Incentives
Position Summary:
Sales Interns will serve as an essential part of the operations team by being an important point of contact with guests as sales are being made and will provide exceptional service to the guests before and after their cruise. Interns are expected to work safely and to be dynamic in a fast-paced environment. In addition to operational responsibilities, all Interns in the company are expected to participate in learning opportunities, including company-led webinars and completing e-learning leadership development courses. Interns will support the company's mission of creating amazing experiences for our guests.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support port Account Managers with inbound calls, RFP leads, building sales contracts, and sales prospecting.
  • Assist the Director of Sales with reporting and team incentive tracking.
  • Help coordinate between the Sales and Events teams regarding cruise execution, including but not limited to contacting third-party vendors to ensure smooth cruising.
  • Assist the Sales and Marketing teams with promoted mailings.
  • Participate in additional learning opportunities and intern meetings as required
  • Successful completion of required Wheelhouse University courses
  • Complete all tasks related to an internship project as determined by your sales leader
  • Additional job duties assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Maintain a high level of organization, detailed oriented and meet deadlines.
  • Handle multiple tasks/projects at one time.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships as required by job responsibility.
  • Listen effectively, assess the situation, determine relevant issues, & suggest solutions.
  • Have a working knowledge of computer skills, including but not limited to proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Must be able to effectively understand and convey written and verbal information to coworkers and guests.
  • Maintain uniform and personal grooming in compliance with appearance standards.
  • Will be required to be available for work nights, weekends and on all major holidays.
