Job description

About VeeFriends
VeeFriends is a modern entertainment and consumer products company built around characters, storytelling, collectibles, community, and culture. Spanning physical and digital collectibles, publishing, licensing, live experiences, commerce, and emerging consumer products, VeeFriends operates as a vertically integrated brand with a rapidly expanding ecosystem of products, partners, and channels.
Role Overview
VeeFriends is building an always-on AI content engine across its character universe, comics, collectibles, and marketing and we need someone to own it end to end. As Sr. Manager of AI Content, you'll set the strategy and run the production pipeline for AI-generated content across long-form, short-form, and image assets, in service of VeeFriends' tentpole franchises and marketing initiatives. You'll stay hands-on with the tools (Seedance and similar AI video/image models) while also directing the vendors and in-house social team who plug into that pipeline day to day. You'll report directly to the President as you build this function from the ground up, with real ownership over how AI content gets made across VeeFriends.
What You'll Do
  • Own the overall production pipeline and strategy for AI content generation across VeeFriends, setting the roadmap for how AI content gets planned, produced, and shipped
  • Create long-form, short-form, and image assets for our tentpole content franchises (VeeFriends Comics, character universe, collectibles drops) and marketing initiatives
  • Lead and direct the VeeFriends social media team on how to embed the AI content pipeline into high-performing social content, across formats and platforms
  • Manage and direct a network of creative vendors and freelance creators, while partnering closely with in-house team leads (comics, social, marketing) to keep the pipeline running.
  • Bring proven, hands-on skill with AI video generation to actually produce and finalize content not just direct it
  • See the bigger picture: translate character and franchise strategy into a repeatable, scalable content system rather than one-off asset requests
  • Partner with Creative, Marketing, and Collectibles leads to understand upcoming launches and franchise needs
Qualifications
  • Proven track record generating performative video content with Seedance and/or comparable AI video generation models
  • Experience directing both a production pipeline and the people/vendors inside it, as well as executing individual assets
  • Strong sense of platform-native short-form and long-form content strategy, and what performs where
  • Systems thinker: able to design and run an always-on content operation built around a franchise calendar, not just react to one-off briefs
  • Comfortable managing and directing external creators/vendors alongside an in-house creative and social team
  • A curiosity for AI tooling broadly. quick to test, evaluate, and adopt new models as they emerge
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to brief, direct, and give feedback clearly
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Bonus: familiarity with character-based IP, comics, collectibles
Benefits
VeeFriends offers a comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees, including Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and Unlimited PTO.
