THE POSITION

As a M&A Analyst within our Business Development team, you will assist with promoting Volaris Group and establishing relationships with C-Level executives to cultivate acquisition opportunities. This is a great role for an early career professional who's interested in building long-standing relationships with business owners and assisting with corporate development opportunities within an established organization. We're seeking an energetic and confident communicator with a business, marketing, or finance degree. We are a fast-growing team chasing an ambitious growth goal so there will be opportunities to progress within the portfolio for the right person.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement strategic prospecting campaigns with target businesses, using outreach mechanisms like personalized email, marketing automation, outbound calling, and LinkedIn
  • Attend tradeshows and other niche industry events to source opportunities and present feedback on market opportunities
  • Arrange and participate in introductory meetings between interested business owners and our M&A team
  • Understand and effectively communicate the benefits and value of being acquired by Volaris Group
  • Stay up to date on trends in software/technology and in the vertical markets we serve
  • Grow and maintain Volaris Group's proprietary Salesforce database
  • Achieve monthly and annual opportunity growth goals

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-3 years of professional experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Strong performance in an undergraduate degree
    (preferably business, marketing, finance, economics, or communications)
  • Energetic, personable, and results-oriented
  • Confident self-starter with an ability to take initiative and problem solve
  • Exceptional written/verbal communication skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Able to build relationships with individuals at all levels of an organization
  • Can flex personal style to adapt to different personalities
  • Good conflict resolution skills
  • Highly driven and intellectually curious
  • Proven record of leadership in extracurricular activities and/or through internships or co-ops
