Role Purpose: To prepare for and perform the molding of parts to meet all requirements, including delivery and/or subsequent production schedules
Critical Competencies: - Ability to follow work instructions.
- Ability to calculate ratios from formulas and apply to weights of compounds.
- Ability to use scales to weigh accurately in small quantities.
- Attention to detail required.
- Good basic mathematical abilities including the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations required.
Physical Demands: - Ability to work standing up for up to 4 hours at a time.
- Adequate dexterity for using various hand tools.
- Visual acuity to inspect finished parts.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds intermittently and 25 pounds routinely.
- Ability to use torque wrench, drill and socket ratchets.
Education and/or Experience:- Minimum HS diploma or GED required.
- Prior molding experience preferred.
- Prior experience with mechanical assembly/disassembly preferred.
