Internships typically run from late May through August but are flexible with school schedules. Agricultural Intern-Summer 2026 Qualifications: Current student in college (no year requirement, 1 year students are encouraged to apply!) Background or interest in pursuing a career in Ag Business, Crop/Soil Sciences, or Farm Management Training/Internship Plan Outline: Assist field team with planting operations and scheduling Skill building in scouting, crop maturity assessment, crop quality assessment, and crop harvesting logistics Skill building in team management, training, raw product evaluation and flow, and harvest scheduling Opportunities to learn harvest equipment functions and raw product harvesting process Develop an understanding of raw product flow including truck routing, product grading, and harvest planning Opportunities for projects that compliment your skills and interests to enhance overall productive and reduce costs of the business Communication skills with growers, landowners, department leads, and other Seneca processing plants Both planting and harvest activities require attention 7 days a week; there will be opportunities for overtime as well as time-off to fit with commitments both for school and personal.
