Job description

  • Responsible for assigned book of business.
  • Process renewals and incidental new business, cancellations, audits, and endorsement requests.
  • Responsible for accuracy of your work product and that of others assisting you.
  • Issue certificates of insurance, when necessary.
  • Initiate renewal meetings and be responsible for renewal process.
  • Negotiate coverages and premiums with carriers.
  • Provide producer and/or client executive with accurate renewal proposals.
  • Check policy coverages, endorsements and audits for accuracy.
  • Respond to or refer insureds' and underwriters' questions or requests.
  • Invoice policies, audits, endorsements, cancellations and other appropriate transactions.
  • Assist producer, accounting department and client in the reconciliation of client accounts.
  • Responsible for account rounding.
  • Attend company and department meetings, position-related seminars/classes, client meetings, carrier functions, and other events as required.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures set forth for the Department and Bolton & Company.
  • Pursue a program for professional development, including attending educational classes in your specific field and those offered by Bolton in communication, leadership, corporate language and other classes as recommended by leaders
  • Be an active, responsible team member, conducting yourself in a professional and respectful manner to all internal and external clients, carriers, and staff.

You Should Have:

  • 4+ years of commercial P&C experience
  • Property & Casualty Insurance License.
  • CISR designation or other advanced designation.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated comfort with renewal cycle and processes.
  • Possesses time management and problem solving skills.
  • Personal responsibility and accountability for assigned book of business.
  • Ability to build and grow professional relationships with clients

Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance and the California Fair Chance Act. Salary Range

$90,000—$100,000 USD
