Job description

We are looking for a passionate, energetic intern eager to learn about our company by working with various departments. You will work closely with our team to provide services to clients with developmental, intellectual, and emotional health needs. Sky Point serves children, teens, and adults in Waiver Services and Therapeutic Services. The mission of Sky Point Social Services is a commitment to support individuals with ALL abilities in reaching their fullest potential by providing the care and services that will enable them to live enriching lives in the communities where they are valued and respected for their abilities and contributions.

To be successful as an Intern, you should be willing to help with the tasks assigned by a supervisor(s).You should also be ready and willing to learn and grow as an individual.


Intern Responsibilities:

  • Fulfill tasks set out by supervisor(s) from various departments
  • Attend and participate in meetings
  • Develop a schedule with your supervisor(s) and communicate any necessary changes
  • Engage with clients
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to the team on how to better serve the community


Intern Requirements:

  • A high school student or recent graduate
  • Eager to learn and work with various departments in the agency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Must be able to pass the required background check(s)


This unpaid and temporary internship has a flexible start and end date to meet the individual's needs. Potential interns should be prepared for a flexible schedule to meet the requirements of their program/class. Our business hours are Monday-Friday 8 AM-4 PM; however, shadowing opportunities may be available outside these time frames.
