Job description

Job Summary:
T3i is seeking an Operational Psychologist to support an embedded Human Performance Optimization (HPO) program serving Air Ground Operations personnel and other high-performance military populations. The Operational Psychologist will provide leadership consultation, personnel assessment, resilience training, performance enhancement, executive coaching, and organizational support designed to improve readiness, adaptability, decision-making, and mission effectiveness. Working directly with military leadership and operational personnel, the Operational Psychologist will advise leaders on human performance factors influencing individual and team effectiveness, support personnel assessment and selection activities, facilitate resilience and performance training, and assist organizations in building sustainable high-performance cultures. This position requires the ability to operate effectively within dynamic operational environments while collaborating closely with Physical Therapists, Strength amp; Conditioning Specialists, Resilience amp; Performance Coaches, and other members of the Human Performance team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide operational psychology consultation to military personnel and leadership
• Support personnel assessment, selection, and talent management initiatives
• Deliver resilience, mental skills, and performance enhancement training
• Provide executive coaching and leadership development support
• Advise leaders on team dynamics, organizational effectiveness, and human performance
• Support critical incident response and performance recovery efforts when required
• Conduct workshops and educational sessions focused on resilience, performance, and leadership
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary human performance professionals to address readiness challenges
• Assist leadership in identifying trends impacting force readiness and effectiveness
• Maintain required documentation, reports, licenses, certifications, and security requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
• Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology
• Successful completion of an APA-accredited internship or residency
• Current unrestricted psychologist license in at least one U.S. state or territory
• Minimum four (4) years of experience supporting military, federal, operational, tactical, or high-performance populations
• Active TS/SCI security clearance (Required)
• Ability to obtain and maintain installation access
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience supporting assessment and selection programs
• Experience supporting special operations, air-ground operations, aviation, or other tactical communities
• Executive coaching experience
• Experience supporting resilience and human performance programs
• Experience working within embedded multidisciplinary performance teams
• Experience advising senior military leaders
