Job description

About the Role
Are you a highly organized, execution-focused professional who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments? We’re looking for a Data Center Proposal Coordinator to drive the end-to-end pursuit process for hyperscale data center projects across structured cabling, fiber optic, and low-voltage infrastructure.
In this role, you’ll serve as the central point of coordination across estimating, operations, vendors, and leadership—ensuring every proposal is complete, competitive, and delivered on time. You’ll bring structure to complex bid environments, align teams around scope and strategy, and play a key role in winning high-impact projects.
If you’re someone who takes ownership, drives accountability, and excels at turning moving parts into successful outcomes, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do – Drive Execution. Deliver Winning Outcomes.
  • Own and lead the full proposal lifecycle from bid release through final submission.
  • Coordinate estimating, operations, and leadership to ensure complete scope coverage and aligned pricing strategy.
  • Establish and manage bid schedules, deadlines, and deliverables across all stakeholders.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to identify scope requirements, gaps, and risks.
  • Support development of conceptual budgets, hard bids, and negotiated proposals.
  • Manage subcontractor and vendor engagement, including bid outreach, leveling, and scope validation.
  • Ensure all proposal components—technical, commercial, and documentation—are accurate, complete, and compliant.
  • Maintain proposal logs, tracking tools, and historical data to support future bids and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate internal bid reviews, including scope alignment, risk assessment, and submission readiness.
  • Support client engagement through pre-bid meetings, walkthroughs, and clarifications.
  • Identify opportunities for value engineering and competitive differentiation.
  • Continuously improve proposal processes, templates, and standards to increase efficiency and quality.
What You Bring
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple bids in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and telecom infrastructure designs.
  • Working knowledge of structured cabling, fiber optic systems, and data center environments.
  • Understanding of estimating workflows, cost structures, and subcontractor bid processes.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical, operational, and executive teams.
  • Experience identifying risks, scope gaps, and inconsistencies in bid documents.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam (or similar), and proposal/estimating tools.
  • High level of accountability, professionalism, and commitment to quality deliverables.
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in construction preconstruction, estimating coordination, or proposal management.
  • Experience supporting hyperscale or mission-critical data center projects strongly preferred.
  • Background in telecommunications, structured cabling, or low-voltage systems preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
How Success is Measured
  • Consistent delivery of on-time, complete proposal submissions
  • Accuracy and thoroughness of scope coverage and documentation
  • Effectiveness of cross-functional coordination
  • Quality and professionalism of final proposal deliverables
  • Contribution to increased win rates and backlog growth
Work Environment amp; Physical Requirements
Primarily office-based with standard sitting, standing, and computer use.
Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs may be required.
Make an Impact With Us
If you’re a driven, detail-oriented professional who thrives in high-performance environments and takes pride in delivering winning proposals, we’d love to connect. Join us and play a key role in securing and shaping the future of large-scale data center infrastructure projects.
