• Verify test outcomes for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and take initiative in preparing samples for laboratory analysis as necessary.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all procedures, mentor new team members or interns, and help uphold the lab's stringent quality control standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment by complying with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree accompanied by ASCP or AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) certification must be obtained within one year of employment commencement.
• Continuous maintenance of current certification throughout your employment is required.
