Position Overview

We’re looking for an Indianapolis-based Graphic Designer (production) to help bring HotBox Pizza’s marketing, promotional, social, and in-store creative to life.


This role is a great fit for someone with 1–2 years of professional graphic design experience who is ready to grow in a fast-moving brand environment. Internship experience is acceptable, but full-time professional experience is preferred.


This is a production-focused creative role. You’ll work closely with senior team members to build, resize, adapt, organize, and prepare creative materials across print, digital, social, email, web, and in-store channels. You’ll need strong design fundamentals, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to move quickly without letting quality slip.


You should also be comfortable supporting simple content creation needs, including shooting smartphone photos/videos and handling basic short-form video editing as directed by senior team members.


Location: Indianapolis, IN

Employment Type: Full-Time, in-office

Salary Range: $48,000–$55,000, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Design: Build, resize, update, and prepare marketing materials for print, digital, web, email, social media, and in-store use.
  • Print & Digital Asset Creation: Create and adapt menus, flyers, posters, signage, digital ads, email graphics, social graphics, promotional materials, and store-level marketing pieces.
  • Brand Consistency: Follow established HotBox Pizza brand standards and help maintain a consistent look and feel across all customer-facing materials.
  • File Prep & Organization: Prepare clean, accurate, production-ready files for vendors, printers, stores, digital platforms, and internal use.
  • Social Media Support: Create social-first graphics and basic content under the direction of senior team members.
  • Smartphone Content Capture: Shoot basic photo and video content in stores, at events, during promotions, and at marketing activations using a smartphone.
  • Basic Video Editing: Edit simple short-form video content for social media using direction and feedback from senior team members.
  • Campaign Support: Help execute creative assets for promotions, campaigns, loyalty initiatives, store openings, events, and seasonal marketing efforts.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to execute creative projects, respond to store needs, and bring ideas to life.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple assignments at once, communicate clearly about timing, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


Qualifications

  • 1–2 years minimum professional experience in graphic design, production design, or a related creative role
  • A portfolio demonstrating design, layout, production, and/or social media work
  • Internship experience is acceptable; full-time professional experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, color, hierarchy, and basic design principles
  • Comfortable creating digital and print-ready files
  • Active user of social media with a strong understanding of current platform trends and content styles
  • Comfortable shooting basic smartphone photo and video content
  • Basic video editing skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to take direction, apply feedback, and move quickly
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
