This role is for big thinkers with a proven sales track record, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to turn insights into revenue. What You'll Do

• Sell iHeartMedia’s portfolio of News/Talk radio stations, local and national hosts, and News/Talk podcast Prospect and develop new business through proactive outreach and cold calling
• Build strong, consultative relationships with advertisers and decision‑makers
• Create compelling, results‑driven marketing solutions for clients
• Consistently maintain a strong pipeline by conducting 8–10 client/prospect meetings per week
• Work collaboratively from the iHeartMedia office in your local market

What You'll Need

• 2–3+ years of direct sales experience in radio, audio, or media sales
• A self‑starter mentality with a strong “go‑getter” attitude
• Exceptional relationship‑building, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills
• Persuasive communicator with strong storytelling ability
• Highly organized, goal‑oriented, and proactive in a fast‑paced environment
• Comfortable with cold calling and initiating outreach as part of lead generation
• Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and social networking platforms
• Ability to prioritize daily activities based on shifting business needs
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a high school diploma required (College degree preferred)

Envision your first 30 days

• Week 1: Complete our onboarding journey for a deep understanding of our company, job‑specific trainings and spend time with your team.
• Week 2: Spend more time with your manager to ensure you are aligned on work and communication styles, priorities, and any other expectations.
• Week 3: Start “owning” your role and leaning into the real day‑to‑day, of course with your manager’s support and advocacy!
• Week 4: Prioritize a 30‑day check‑in to see what else you might need to be most successful in your new role.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to apply expertise in a complex sales environment to service large and/or national accounts
• Experience to anticipate customer needs based on advanced business knowledge and in‑depth understanding of customer’s strategy

• Desire to stay abreast of emerging market trends and customer needs to expand relationships and trust
• Ability to guide others to solve complex problems using sophisticated analytical thought to identify innovating sales solutions
• Team leadership experience and/or a desire to act as a role‑model or mentor to develop others

Compensation

This position will be paid on a 100% commission basis. Commission rates range from 4.0%-16.0%.
