Job Description

AECOM Hunt is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to be based in Greenwood, IN.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting the Project Management team by overseeing construction administration tasks
  • Preparing subcontractor reports as needed to keep Supervisor and Client informed of ongoing progress
  • Participating in site visits.  Coordinating and assisting superintendent as required
  • Receiving, reviewing and submitting documents for approval (Submittals/ RFIs/ etc.)
  • Assisting project manager costs and scheduling to ensure completion of project within budget and in conformance with contract
  • Working with document control systems, project management systems and other software or databases to keep information flow up-to-date and accurate
  • Attending meetings and reporting on project tasks as needed

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Candidate must have completed Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Construction Management or similar discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Prior Internship experience within the construction industry.
  • Experience working on a live construction site.
  • Experience engaging with multiple trades on a construction project.
