Role Responsibilities - Your Day-to-Day

• Conduct both routine and specialized lab tests spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and various other areas, all while following standard operating procedures.
• Evaluate laboratory results for accuracy, identify inconsistencies, perform troubleshooting, and guarantee proper maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and ensure samples are adequately prepared for testing.
• Keep meticulous records of all procedures, provide guidance to new team members or interns, and contribute to maintaining laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a safe and sanitized workplace and adhere to varied regulatory and quality standards.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or possess an equivalent allied health credential, alongside the necessary ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Achieve ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of your employment.
• Retain your certification throughout your tenure.
