What you'll do:

  • Performs non-invasive cardiac ultrasound procedures on patients in a variety of age-specific populations, toaid in the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease. These exams are performed in accordance with theguidelines and standards set forth by the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE), the AmericanCollege of Cardiology (ACC) and/or the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC).

What you'll need for this job:

EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education

PREFERRED

  • Associates Degree
  • Graduate of accredited Echocardiography program


EXPERIENCE

  • Required: 6 months - 1 year of previous job-related experience (may be via clinical internship)
  • Preferred: 1 - 2 years of previous job-related experience


LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS

  • CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
  • Eligibility* for:
  • a. Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) via ARDMS OR
  • b. Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) / Registered Congenital CardiacSonographer (RCCS) via CCI OR
  • c. Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) via CCI
  • *Must receive one of the above credentials within one year of the date of hire.

Pay Range: $29.78 - $48.84 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
