The Technology Industrial Attachment Program offers Software Engineer roles in the Global Markets Technology division. This division provides technology solutions and strategic support to the equities, electronic trading, rates and currencies, credit and structured products, commodities, sales and capital markets businesses.

  • Global Markets Technology (GMT) โ€“ Provides technology solutions and support to Global Markets business. GMT includes Global Equity Technology โ€“ Leads the three primary businesses, active in 140 markets around the world: Execution Services (high and low touch), Client Solutions (derivatives) and Asset Management Services (prime brokerage, security lending and swaps). In addition, this group also covers Global Sales, Research, Capital Markets and the GBAM Mercuryยฎ Portal. Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC) Technology โ€“ Supports FICC trading and sales franchise that operates out of 25 locations worldwide, covering clients in more than 150 countries. Global Markets Operations Technology โ€“ Supports Global Markets Operations and Middle Office, plus external partners. Acts as the primary support for Global Markets Operations across Transaction Management, Confirmations, Settlements & Clearing, Corporate Actions, Payments, Operational Risk, P&L and Balance Sheet, and Reference Data. What you'll do:

Key tasks and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide technical excellence to design, develop, and maintain state-of-the-art technology applications utilizing technologies such as Java/EJB's, C++, .NET, Python and Web services
  • Gather and translate internal and external client requirements into technical design specifications, business process reengineering
  • Code solutions, unit tests, and ensures the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces
  • Participate and contribute to the delivery/release (CI/CD) events. e.g. branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution, release notes
Program Overview

Our Technology Industrial Attachment Program is a 6-month program (Jan - Jun 2027) designed to provide you with a unique experience based on your interests, development opportunities and current business needs. Analyst positions support teams that work on the latest technology and emerging technical trends. The Industrial Attachment program begins with an orientation and induction to the firm. You will have access to valuable on-the-job support, opportunities to connect with senior leaders and the ability to attend various networking and developmental events.

Industrial Attachment interns are given a true associate experience, as assignments mirror full-time responsibility and include goal-setting and a formal review process.
