Job description

Job Description:
Duties: Perform semiconductor engineering duties and specify, design, and integrate software components into a complete product. Design and develop solutions to semiconductor applications problems in furtherance of consumer electronics, industrial and automotive industry. Design, develop, test and document software systems and applications for enhancements and new products; facilitate the smooth integration of microcontrollers, processors, and development platforms into relevant applications; provide hardware and software technical support working closely and efficiently with partners and customers, software development, and training for processors and reference design systems; system level customer support involving multimedia, operating systems, machine learning components for all key customers; prepare application notes and technical materials, including design documentation, specifications, procedures, experimental results, design options, and tradeoffs; perform feasibility and benchmark study for specific product use cases, optimize software programs including applications, operating systems-level software and/or middleware performance, and low power consumption; contribute to architectural firmware and/or middleware design discussion for new generation chipsets; analyze the impact of the software and algorithms for the definition of the next generation of SoC; contribute to porting of new opensource and commercial framework, analyze performance, and propose optimizations; create, evaluate, and demonstrate hardware and software and associated training materials; and solve system design issues, and respond to technical questions. Up to 10% domestic and 5% international travel required for business meetings, events, conferences, trainings.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, foreign equivalent or related field.
