One of our direct client is urgently looking for a Software developer In Test role SDET (QE Engineer @ Reston VA
TITLE:Software developer In Test role SDET (QE Engineer
LOCATION: Reston VA
Duration: 6 to 12+ Months

Description:
The Software developer In Test role SDET (QE Engineer) will be responsible for designing, developing, running, maintaining and documenting all types of UI and BE test automation. This includes functional automation, performance testing, technical test automation and system administration duties for the teams test tools. This person will participate in the development of test automation strategies within the Quality Assurance Team. Works closely with QA Software Testers, IT software development and project teams to develop test automation strategies and create test automation that supports the delivery of high quality software.
This person will also Participate in functional, integration, end-to-end, regression testing and coordinating with different teams to identify the requirements gaps during testing; Writing test plan, test execution, test estimation documents; Identifying and performing test cases for integration, adhoc, regression, functional, UI and smoke testing, identifying test cases for automation.
**Skills Required**:
Excellent Communication and Collaboration skills
Must have experience with: Designing and developing Test Automation Framework using BDD Pattern;
Developing Automation Framework using object Oriented Programming Language JAVA with Selenium Webdriver for web applications; Writing database queries to support testing (SQL, Cassandra);
Developing scripts for automating Mobile applications using Appium;
Developing scripts for performance testing using Jmeter;
Designing and developing Framework for Performance testing using Apache benchmark; Designing and developing hybrid model framework to test Rest APIs using TestNG; Developed Sparks jobs for various business requirements on data;
