Job Summary:
Works with Installers and independently, in the completion of installs and service calls. Responsible for timely completion of daily procedures and paperwork they are assigned. Tech is also responsible for assigned vehicle care and maintenance.

Develop and maintain proficiency in the following areas:
Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Advanced knowledge of residential low voltage installation procedures and guidelines
  • Advanced knowledge of:
    • Audio/Video systems
    • Home network systems
    • Control/Automation systems
    • Luma camera surveillance systems
    • New construction pre-wire and existing home wiring
  • Advanced troubleshooting of audio/video and control systems
  • Strong programming of Control 4, Savant, Araknis and Luma systems
  • Advanced understanding of multi-room A/V and Control systems and setup
  • Understanding of security system installation,
  • programming and design
  • Tech 2 or better certifications (or obtain within 6 months of hire)
  • Completion of ProSource University within the first year of employment

Minimum Job Requirements:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly detailed, organized, and multitask driven
  • Ability to work on rotating "on-call" service schedule
  • Proficient in all Lead level qualifications
  • Assist in training and evaluation of up to Lead level technicians
  • Excellent skills with desktop and mobile computing
  • Clean driving record and background check (required for DCJS certification)
  • Minimum of 2 years of field experience
