Job description

Responsible for providing leadership, development and management of the assigned team. Develops and implements sales strategies and programs for the team and other internal matrix partners (e.g., product, marketing, data, and analyst) to drive customer engagement and achieve profitability goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provides leadership, development and management of the Sales Associate team
  • Develops and implements strategic vision for the team
  • Liaison between contracting, product and operations teams to improve sales processes and efficiency in sales enablement.
  • Ensures the delivery of individualized and group coaching sessions on cold calling, analytics meeting management, and any other skill gaps identified
  • Develops qualitative and quantitative indicators for sustainable performance
  • May attend and participate in customer meetings, as needed
  • Oversees the consistency of training, development, guidance, and advice across the Sales Associate team
  • May attend local networking events, as needed
  • Works with Human Resources to make or approve decisions regarding hires, salary actions, promotions, disciplinary action, and terminations
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
  • Knowledge/experience with assigned market channel (i.e. Government, Corporations, Tax and Accounting or Law)
  • Depending on assigned market channel, may require contracts knowledge/experience either Federal or Commercial and knowledge of the government, marketplace and sales acquisitions process
  • Must have an entrepreneurial mind set and outgoing nature
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills to effectively communicate value proposition to leaders in the public and private sectors
  • Must be a confident and personable self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
  • Strong proven sales skills. Demonstrated understanding of the market and customers. Proven ability to adapt to changing markets and to understand customer needs
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills. Ability to manage, coach and motivate a team
  • Ability to plan, to develop, and conduct effective presentations to high-level professional audiences

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience and proven propensity as a leader
  • 1+ years of people leadership experience required

Compensation Range:
$110,000.00-$140,000.00
Placement in the salary range will be decided upon completion of the interview process. Salary determination will be determined based on factors including but not limited to relevant experience, demonstrated skills related to the requirements of the role, education, certifications, and geographic location.
