About the Role

Altera Cloud is seeking a motivated Associate Regional Sales Executive to support new business growth across healthcare and other mission-critical industries.

This role is ideal for an early-career sales professional or recent graduate with an interest in cloud technologies, AI, and digital transformation. You will work alongside experienced teams to develop consultative sales skills, build customer relationships, and introduce organizations to Altera Cloud's solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support achievement of sales, pipeline, and revenue goals within your assigned territory by developing a strong understanding of customer needs and maintaining consistent sales activity.
  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, partner engagement, and targeted account outreach across healthcare and other mission-critical industries.
  • Participate in the full sales cycle - from initial outreach and discovery conversations through proposal support and deal progression - building consultative selling skills under the guidance of experienced team members.
  • Develop a working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, managed services, AI, and digital transformation solutions to confidently communicate business value to prospective customers.
  • Build relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams to support positive engagements and contribute to a strong customer experience.
  • Learn to maintain accurate pipeline activity, account updates, and forecasting in Salesforce, with coaching from sales leadership to develop performance tracking skills over time.
  • Work closely with sales leadership, solution architects, and marketing teams to support campaigns, customer presentations, and go-to-market initiatives - gaining exposure to cross-functional collaboration.
  • Represent Altera Cloud at customer meetings, webinars, conferences, and industry events to build your professional network and develop market knowledge.
  • Travel up to 50% domestically

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (required) in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Internship or early-career experience in sales, technology, cloud, SaaS, or customer-facing roles preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong interest in sales and technology (cloud and AI preferred).
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to learn technical concepts and communicate business value.
  • Interest in healthcare and/or IT industries.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD, technology), for example.

Salary range: $55-65K. This role includes a competitive base salary plus a quota-driven incentive compensation plan that rewards individual sales performance and achievement of business objectives.
