Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Compensation:

        Base Pay Range:

o   $60,000.00 annual first year

o   $65,000.00 annual second year

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION

        Complete immersive departmental rotations to gain broad exposure and knowledge of hospital and ambulatory operations while building a network of contacts.

        Lead projects and teams to solve business problems and drive innovative solutions through the utilization of project management and change management processes and tools.

        Gain practical experience in a variety of administrative activities in preparation for leadership.

        Participate in collaborative mentorship with senior executive leaders.

        Serve in an interim leadership role as opportunities arise.

        Demonstrate inclusive leadership and the Culture of Yes behaviors while leading and working with others to accomplish the MU Health Care mission.

        May complete unit/department specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

        Master's degree in healthcare administration, public health, public administration, business administration, or an equivalent degree, within three (3) months as a condition of continued employment in this job classification.

o   Applicants with an MBA or MPA must have either a minimum of nine health care-specific credit hours or at least six months of health care work experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

        Administrative internship experience.

        Relevant work experience.

        Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
