Experience: min 1 yrs up to 5 yrs


Job Type: Contract


Location: On-site (Troy, MI) with regular travel to various manufacturing plants (up to 50%-75% travel).


We need a fast learner for our Robot Support Engineer role. You will set up Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR devices) on the shop floor. You will build new processes, set up waypoints, and fix software bugs. You will also help plant engineers and support daily operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Robot Setup: Install and set up AMR devices on the shop floor.
  • Navigation: Configure and test waypoints, maps, and paths for safe robot travel.
  • Software Debug: Find and fix software and system issues quickly.
  • Process Creation: Build new operational processes for robot use in the plant.
  • Team Support: Train and help plant engineers with robot issues.
  • Travel: Visit different factory sites for weeks at a time to launch new systems.


Job Requirements

  • Education: Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related controls background.
  • Experience: Entry-level position open to recent graduates with previous relevant engineering internships.
  • Skills: Fast learner with strong debugging and software troubleshooting skills.
