• Conduct routine and specialized lab tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-following established methods and protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, address any discrepancies, and maintain lab instruments through regular calibration and preventative maintenance.
• Support specimen collection processes and prepare samples as needed for evaluation.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all procedures, assist in training new staff or interns, and contribute to the maintenance of lab quality standards.
• Ensure a safe, clean working environment, adhering to all relevant regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health degree, with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Must obtain ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science within your first year of hire.
• Required to keep certification current throughout your tenure.
