Position DescriptionWestern Industrial Contractors is seeking a motivated
Structural Engineer I to join our Denver team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to contribute to a variety of industrial and structural projects while developing technical and professional skills in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, and other systems
- Generate structural drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit
- Prepare engineering calculations, reports, and specifications
- Assist project engineers and managers with project delivery
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in site visits, inspections, and field observations
Position RequirementsQualifications- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (structural emphasis) or Structural Engineering
- 0-3 years of relevant experience (internships included)
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Familiarity with structural analysis software (ETABS, SAP2000, RAM, etc.) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
