Position Description
Western Industrial Contractors is seeking a motivated Structural Engineer I to join our Denver team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to contribute to a variety of industrial and structural projects while developing technical and professional skills in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
    • Perform structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, and other systems
    • Generate structural drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit
    • Prepare engineering calculations, reports, and specifications
    • Assist project engineers and managers with project delivery
    • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
    • Participate in site visits, inspections, and field observations

Position Requirements
Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (structural emphasis) or Structural Engineering
    • 0-3 years of relevant experience (internships included)
    • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain
    • Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit
    • Familiarity with structural analysis software (ETABS, SAP2000, RAM, etc.) is a plus
    • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills
