Job Description:
Job Summary
Responsible for providing support in the analysis and maintenance of revenue cycle systems to ensure accurate billing, reimbursement, and compliance. Assists with troubleshooting system issues and collaborates with clinical, financial, and IT teams to resolve discrepancies. Supports data integrity through audits, validations, and reporting.
Essential Functions
• Assists in reviewing revenue cycle data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards.
• Supports configuration, testing, and routine maintenance of revenue cycle applications under supervision.
• Troubleshoots basic system errors and escalates complex issues to senior staff or IT teams.
• Prepares recurring and ad hoc reports to support operations and performance monitoring.
• Collects and organizes charge capture, billing, and payment data for analysis by senior staff.
• Collaborates with clinical, financial, and IT teams to document system or workflow issues.
• Participates in validation and testing during system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient and financial data in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree
Experience Requirement: 0-2 years of experience
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
Certifications & Licensures: Epic certification in applicable module(s) required.
