Job description

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise assigned maintenance staff and interns. Maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior of facility. Make repairs requiring skills such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical. Responsible for preventative maintenance of cooling/heating and domestic hot water systems. Ensure that the periodic maintenance and inspection of sprinkler systems, fire alarm system and fire extinguishers is performed and documented. Arrange for and oversee outside contractors as directed. Receive and store deliveries of maintenance/office supplies. Move furniture as needed. Be a member of the fire safety team. Participate in fire drills. On call for emergencies, this may require early and/or late hours. Related duties as assigned.

HOURS:

Full-time 37.5 hours per week

  • Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

QUALIFICATIONS:

Five years experience in building maintenance, experience in trades is helpful. Prior supervisory experience. Ability to use independent discretion and judgement. High school diploma or G.E.D. required. Ability to communicate in English. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Valid driver’s license required.
