The Internship Operations Coordinator supports QuantHub's growing workforce initiatives by coordinating the day-to-day execution of internship programs, student experiences, and program operations.
This role serves as the operational backbone for Alabama Data Scholars, the new AI for Alabama initiative launching this fall, and future internship cohorts and workforce programs. Working closely with the Employer Partnerships Manager, this position ensures internship programs are delivered with consistency, accuracy, and exceptional attention to detail while creating an outstanding experience for students and employer partners.
Because QuantHub is an education technology company, this role also supports the integration of AI and data skills training into every internship experience through QuantHub's learning platform and skill pathways.

Requirements

Internship Program Operations
  • Coordinate internship cohorts from application through program completion.
  • Maintain program timelines, operational calendars, and implementation plans.
  • Track onboarding, milestones, deliverables, and participant progress.
  • Coordinate required documentation and participant records.
  • Monitor deadlines and proactively follow up to keep programs on schedule.
Student Experience
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for student questions and support.
  • Coordinate student onboarding, orientation, and ongoing communications.
  • Monitor participation, learning progress, and internship completion.
  • Ensure students understand expectations, deadlines, and available resources.
  • Escalate concerns appropriately while maintaining an exceptional student experience.

Data & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate student, employer, and program records.
  • Track participation and program metrics.
  • Assist with grant reporting and stakeholder reporting.
  • Ensure data quality across workforce program systems.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Communications, Project Management, Human Resources, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant program coordination, workforce, higher education, customer success, or nonprofit experience.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and cloud collaboration tools.
Preferred:
