• Establish and maintain therapeutic rapport with clients and their families, conducting thorough assessments to determine suicidality risks and identify any dangers to self or others.
• Oversee the admission process for new patients, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and facilitating clinical outreach as necessary.
• Engage in weekly treatment team meetings, sharing insights and communicating treatment goals with fellow clinicians to ensure comprehensive care.
• Provide utilization reviews to insurance providers, supplying accurate clinical documentation to support initial authorization and continued care.
• Respond promptly to communication from clients and their families, ensuring accessibility during business hours and a commitment to returning messages within a two-hour timeframe.
• Coordinate with Utilization Review and Business Departments regarding authorization and payment matters, while ensuring continuity of care through effective communication with outpatient providers and referral sources.
• Initiate discharge planning upon patient admission, conducting discharge sessions to ensure clients have a clear understanding of their coping strategies and transition resources.
• Manage crises effectively during sessions and support milieu staff in patient interactions, maintaining a high level of clinical quality through teamwork.
• Complete all required clinical documentation in a timely manner, ensuring that it is done accurately at the time of service.

Your work will primarily focus on diverse populations within the community, addressing a wide range of mental health concerns. You will engage with clients who are seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, and other behavioral health issues. Our commitment to cultural competence requires an understanding of and sensitivity to the varying backgrounds and experiences of our clients, enabling you to provide effective, personalized care.

• A Master’s or Doctoral Degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited program.
• Possession of an independent license to practice in the state of Oregon (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC).
• Proven ability to manage a diverse and active caseload while effectively collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong electronic medical records proficiency, combined with excellent communication skills, especially via email.
• A genuine passion for behavioral health and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of clients.

• A background in telehealth practice is highly desirable, demonstrating adaptability to remote service delivery.
• Experience in crisis intervention and management within a clinical setting.
• Familiarity with utilization review processes and insurance protocols.
