You will have access to state-of-the-art electronic medical records and communication tools that streamline documentation and foster collaboration with multidisciplinary team members.

• Manage and de-escalate crises effectively during therapy sessions, providing a supportive presence not only for clients but also for milieu staff interacting with patients and families.
• Complete thorough clinical documentation in a timely manner, ensuring that all records reflect high-quality standards and are updated at the time of service.
• Establish and maintain therapeutic rapport with patients and their families or loved ones, assessing for risk factors including suicidality and potential harm to self or others during initial and ongoing evaluations.
• Conduct professional admission assessments and facilitate a welcoming admission process for new patients, providing comprehensive information about the therapy process.
• Participate actively in a weekly interdisciplinary treatment team to discuss patient progress and set clinical goals collectively, while offering support and guidance to clinical colleagues as needed.
• Provide utilization reviews to insurance companies, ensuring appropriate clinical information is communicated for initial authorizations and continued stay approvals.
• Maintain proactive communication with family members or loved ones, responding to inquiries within two hours during business hours and within 24 hours at other times.
• Coordinate with the Utilization Review and Business Department regarding authorizations and payments, while facilitating continuity of care in collaboration with referral sources and outpatient providers.
• Begin discharge planning from the day of admission, leading discharge sessions that focus on coping skills, transition planning, and confirming follow-up appointments with patients and their support systems.

This role primarily serves a diverse patient population, encompassing individuals from various backgrounds facing a wide range of mental health challenges. As a provider, you will have the opportunity to work with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders, among others. • A master’s or doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited program.
• An independent license in the state of Oregon, such as LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.
• Strong capability to handle a substantial caseload and effectively interface with healthcare providers and support staff.
• A proven passion for impacting lives and contributing positively to the behavioral health field.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems to support clinical documentation and patient management.
• Excellent email and electronic communication skills to maintain effective interactions with patients, families, and team members.

• Experience managing a diverse caseload and familiarity with community mental health resources.
• Knowledge of the latest therapeutic methodologies and best practices in mental health care.
• Previous involvement in clinical outreach initiatives or community engagement projects.
