Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, crisis intervention assessments, and follow-up care to ensure client well-being.
  • Collaborate with clients to determine their treatment plans, including referrals to appropriate mental health care services.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and reporting requirements.
  • Engage in regular clinical supervision with your Clinical Supervisor, participating at least once a week to enhance professional development.
  • Take part in case conferences and treatment planning sessions for patients receiving mental health treatment.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions, addressing different mental health issues within designated units, while fostering a safe and supportive environment.
  • Consult with external organizations, such as the Department of Corrections, to ensure a continuum of care for assigned patients.
  • May conduct psychological testing as per assignments to further assess and track client progress.
  • Mentor and supervise social work interns or student volunteers as needed, contributing to the development of future mental health professionals.
