Position Summary
The Junior Account Executive is a foundational sales role responsible for sourcing, qualifying, and closing new business within an assigned territory and target account list. Working closely with senior Account Executives, marketing, and the solutions team, the Junior AE will manage the early stages of the sales cycle, develop pipeline through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up, and progress qualified opportunities toward close. This is a career-track role designed for an early-career sales professional ready to grow into a full-cycle Account Executive position.
Key Responsibilities
•      Generate qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting, including cold calls, personalized email outreach, and social selling on LinkedIn.
•      Respond to and qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns, webinars, gated content, and the NextRow website.
•      Conduct discovery conversations with marketing, IT, and digital experience leaders to understand business objectives, technology environment, and buying process.
•      Schedule and support discovery calls, solution demonstrations, and follow-up meetings with senior Account Executives and solution consultants.
•      Maintain accurate and timely activity, contact, and opportunity records in HubSpot, including next steps, close dates, and forecast detail.
•      Prepare account research, account plans, and meeting briefs for assigned target accounts and active opportunities.
•      Collaborate with marketing on account-based campaigns, event follow-up, and feedback on messaging and content performance.
•      Develop a working knowledge of the Adobe Experience Cloud product set and the NextRow services portfolio sufficient to position value at the discovery stage.
•      Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for prospecting activity, qualified meetings, pipeline created, and revenue closed.
•      Represent NextRow Digital professionally at industry events, partner functions, and client meetings.
Required Qualifications
•      Bachelor's degree, or equivalent professional experience.
•      One to three years of professional experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role; internships and SDR or BDR experience qualify.
•      Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and credibly in writing and on the phone with business and technical audiences.
•      Strong organizational skills and the discipline to manage a high volume of activity across multiple accounts.
•      Comfort with CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce, and standard sales engagement platforms.
•      Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
•      Ability to work from the Schaumburg, Illinois office on a full-time basis. This is an in-office role and is not eligible for remote or hybrid work arrangements.
Preferred Qualifications
•      Exposure to digital marketing, marketing technology, or IT services sales.
•      Familiarity with the Adobe Experience Cloud, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or comparable enterprise marketing platforms.
•      Experience selling into marketing, digital, or IT buying centers at mid-market or enterprise accounts.
•      Prior use of sales engagement tools such as Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, or ZoomInfo.
