The Rediscovered Trauma Recovery Center is seeking a committed and skilled Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct weekly live video therapy sessions with individual adults, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each client's unique needs.
  • Collaborate with other psychiatric providers, counselors, and support staff to establish comprehensive treatment plans that address the holistic needs of clients.
  • Implement and utilize automated symptom self-assessments and progress measures to track functional improvement and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Engage in regular team consultations and supervision sessions to seek guidance or share best practices, ensuring the highest standard of care.
  • Maintain accurate and secure documentation of all client interactions, progress updates, and treatment notes following HIPAA regulations and best practices in teletherapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Rediscovered, you will work predominantly with adult clients who are navigating various mental health challenges, particularly those stemming from trauma. Your therapeutic approach will be essential in helping clients achieve self-discovery, emotional resilience, and overall mental health stability. The support offered embraces diversity, ensuring that we cater to clients of different backgrounds, experiences, and needs.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree or higher in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related mental health field.
  • An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Please note: we are unable to accept applications from interns or those seeking limited permits.
  • Proven ability to work independently, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills, particularly in scheduling and case management.
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective therapy and teamwork.
  • Clear of any disciplinary actions on your license, ensuring a focus on professionalism and ethical practice.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a community health setting or teletherapy practice, particularly focusing on trauma-informed care.
  • Proficiency in using telehealth tools and platforms for client engagement and therapy delivery.

Compensation and Benefits
