Systems Developer

Location: Fully Remote | Must be available during East Coast business hours
Schedule: Full-Time
Base Salary: $90,000-$100,000, commensurate with experience

What You'll Do
  • Develop, optimize, and support Microsoft SQL Server solutions using advanced T-SQL, sound database design, and performance analysis.
  • Build and maintain SSRS reports, data imports, transformations, integrations, and queries across SQL Server.
  • Support report development within an existing BI environment using SQL Server and MySQL.
  • Maintain and enhance production applications within an existing C#/.NET environment that supports integrations among applications, databases and external systems (via API and SFTP).
  • Build Copilot Studio agents and Power Automate workflows that connect Teams, SQL Server, APIs, knowledge sources, and internal systems.
  • Apply prompt-engineering and RAG techniques with appropriate testing, grounding, access controls, security, and responsible AI practices.
  • Partner with business and technical teams to turn operational needs into scalable solutions and clear documentation.
What You'll Bring
  • 3-5+ years of professional experience in software, database, application, or data development.
  • Strong Microsoft SQL Server, advanced T-SQL, database design, performance optimization, and SSRS experience.
  • Ability to develop and translate between SQL Server and MySQL.
  • Experience supporting production applications and reading, troubleshooting, and modifying an existing codebase.
  • Strong software-development fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, application architecture, debugging, and error handling.
  • Experience integrating databases, applications, including connecting to existing external APIs.
  • Clear communication, strong judgment, and a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with KingswaySoft a plus.
  • Healthcare technology experience or HIPAA/PHI knowledge - beneficial but not required.
